One day in April 2020, The100DayProject.org crossed my path, so I decided I would give it a go with an old cedar fence post that was found in my late father's garage. Jo sliced it into 100 half inch pieces, which I then carefully sanded and then photographed before [for digital graphic treatment] and after paint application. The Tao Te Ching inspired the daily routine, as one line from each chapter was used to inform the conceptual graphic design as well as the physical painting of each piece. 100 colour swatches were tossed into a hat for a daily random pick to which a colour was mixed using only cyan, magenta, yellow, black and white acrylic paint.
